Job Title: Compliance Officer

Location:  Jeddah, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) 

Duration: 1-year onsite consulting (with potential for extension)

Job Overview:

As the Compliance Officer for the NDMO (National Data Management Office) Framework Phase 1 at aNumak & Company, you will be responsible for ensuring strict adherence to the KSA National Data Management and Personal Data Protection Standards. Leveraging over a decade of experience in compliance, you will play a pivotal role in establishing and maintaining a culture of compliance within the organization and ensuring that all data management practices align with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with the KSA National Data Management and Personal Data Protection Standards.
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments to monitor compliance with data management regulations and standards, identifying areas for improvement and remediation.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide guidance and support on compliance-related matters, including data privacy, security, and governance.
  • Stay informed about changes in data management regulations and standards, communicating updates and implications to relevant stakeholders.
  • Investigate and resolve compliance issues, including data breaches and privacy violations, in a timely and effective manner.
  • Provide training and awareness programs to educate employees about their responsibilities regarding data management and compliance.
  • Maintain records and documentation related to compliance activities, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, Information Technology, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certification in compliance preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in compliance, risk management, or a related field, preferably in the data management or technology sector.
  • – In-depth knowledge of data management regulations and standards, with a focus on the KSA National Data Management and Personal Data Protection Standards.
  • – Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex compliance issues and develop practical solutions.
  • – Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate compliance requirements and expectations to diverse audiences.
  • – Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
